Crashed my bike... :'(
I'm weighing my options. Buy a new tank or fix the one I have. That being said, does anyone know someone here in SoCal that can fix some small dents and repaint? A good job but on the cheaper side. A price range would be nice as well. I've got a price for a nice newer tank so I want to see which one might be cheaper.
Speeddog, I'm sure you know someone. So maybe you can give me a ballpark? And I'm sure Duc-Stew knows someone as well but seeing as he's planning a big move I'd rather not bother him with the small stuff.
Any help is gratefully appreciated [beer]
Bring it by the shop, and my shop-mate Jim can quote it.
He does the *real* painting, he can't quote it without seeing it.
Ok. gotta drain it and pull the bad boy off.
Buy duc_poultry's tank... It's purty! ;D

That sucks - what happened?

It is right! I love the paint. I talked to him about it already, I think I'm gonna get it in the next couple of weeks. ;D

I had a minor crash or "get off" as it's sometimes called on the ACH ride on Sat. :'(
Some cosmetics, mostly ego. Hopefully I'll be riding again soon! You need to come with us next time arai! I think we were planning something a while back right?!

And yes, thanks Stu. Folks, without this mans ingenuity I would probably still be up at ACH.

Thanks, got a guy a little closer. The tank is the only "real" damage...
my guy in long beach did a FANTASTIC job on my tank repair/repaint... i'm attaching a link to before and after pics. (and yes, an ach crash 2.5 years ago is the reason she's turquoise... lol)

I 2nd this. I just dropped off my Tins for my chopper build, at a very reasonable price. In looking at some of their work while at the shop I was impressed. Hit up Steve, he's all cool guy too. [thumbsup]
I guess it doesn't hurt to get a few quotes...thanks for the info guys!
Embyr, the bike looks great! I like the turquoise. [thumbsup]

Looks like the angle of the decal is askew when on the bike. Leans back instead of sitting level. Camera angle?
