Dear all,
I calling out for some help for pics on how race-stripes fit with the fuel cock cover on Monster tanks. The race-stripes that I have in mind are the one main stripe flanked by 2 much-thinner ones, I intend to use the pics as a guide for my painter.
Would appreciate a plan / top-view shot. Planning to do a yellow tank / black stripes.
Thanking in an anticipation
Cheers

cool. although if my memory serves, the stripes are broken at the edge of the circle of the fuel cock i.e. tad wider. Is that a custom paint-job?
Cheers
Yes, it is custom... CF tanks aren't born with paint ;D
I love the checkered flag on the tank sides. Any side shots available?

Holy shitavalo that's a nice tank and paint job.
Is the rest of your ride that nice too Yuu?

Not to drive this off topic... but yes, yes it is ;D. Not new (2000 900s) so there's been some work over the years

- Look at my blingy clutch!
I need some photos in it's current state. New rearsets and rear brake line happened over the winter

tease...
This is one hijack I do not mind.
Pics of the rest of the bodywork and bike, yuu? and I believe I speak for the rest of the DMF.
Cheers
The rest of the body just has that same evenly spaced stripe set on the seat cowl and the fairing.
Those are some of the most current photos I have... though I've done a good bit of work since that time. Some obvious like the rear sets, some less like re running some of the wiring and some changes to the electrics, moving the front signals etc

Well here's something that's not quite as fancy. This is the stock stripe on an S2R. I hope this is what you were looking for (well, prior to the hijack).
Michael
I love the single offset stripe
[thumbsup]

Hiya, thanks, but what I am looking for is a wider centre stripe flanked by 2 thinner pin-stripes. This one from cutgrafic is nearly it, but the stripes are a bit narrower than what I am looking for ... I seem to recall seeing one but I am not sure whether the outer pinstripes are broken or not.

Width is more like these, but goes right up to the fuel cock. I reckon that I will print all these pics and instruct the painter :)
