Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Spidey on April 10, 2010, 05:16:05 PM Damn, they are all so close ('cept for the last coupla guys). And DAMN, Cal can throw down a fast lap.
Factory Ducs and Rea laggin'. :-\ Haga better capitalize on his patented starts. When is JT gonna start movin' up the points? Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Jester on April 10, 2010, 05:41:25 PM The times are pretty close. Haga needs to use this race as an opportunity to jumpstart his season. If he doesn't make a podium soon, I'm sticking the fork in him.

Haga needs to use this race as an opportunity to jumpstart his season. If he doesn't make a podium soon, I'm sticking the fork in him. haga is currently 42 points back from the championship leader with 22 races to go (including this weekend)... spies came back from what, an 80 point deficit last season? if that taught us anything, it's not over till it's over. Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Jester on April 10, 2010, 08:47:14 PM You're right Derby, I just hope The Ben didn't finally suck away his competitive fire. A lot of talented people across different sports never win the championship, but I feel Haga really deserves one. I guess we'll see what happens.

Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Jester on April 11, 2010, 09:36:57 PM I'll happily put my fork back in the drawer. Hopefully this was the jumpstart Haga needed. [thumbsup]
Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Dannyboy on April 12, 2010, 01:13:55 AM Did the whole aggregate time thing have to do with the red flag and subsequent restart? I caught the second race just as they restarted and the whole time Camier was in front they were talking about Checa leading. I finally realized what they were talking about but I never found out why.

Good to not see Fabio on the screen (other than watching him toss it away). DNF'd both races. Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Spidey on April 14, 2010, 06:18:09 AM Anyone see the Supersport race? Chaz was sliding that thing like crazy.
That grid is really small. Looks like Moto2 killed it. Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: DoubleEagle on April 14, 2010, 06:52:28 PM Wish Troy was still out there.

Title: Re: WSBK Round 3-Valencia Spain (SuperPole spoilers!) Post by: Spidey on April 15, 2010, 07:45:29 AM I don't get that crash at all. The other guy stayed upright and was clutching his chest after he oiled down the entire track. That doesn't make sense if the other guy hit andrews from behind. I've watched the footage (which is limited) a couple of times and just don't get it.
Either way, he's lucky. That looked just nasty. <shudder> Broken bones are good ('specially if they're non-displaced). They heal fast. It's the tendons and ligaments that are a pregnant dog. Cole Trickle: Well, tell me how? Harry Hogge: Because we have a really good set of matched tires on it. Tim Daland: What? Cole Trickle: What? Harry Hogge: Those tires are matched perfect and staggered special. Tim Daland: You're gonna get him killed! Harry Hogge: The pace car is getting ready to duck on off. Before lunch Fabrizio was suffering from a severe groin pain and, satisfied with the work done up until then, he preferred to conclude testing early in order to seek medical advice and rest so as to be in good shape for the next race at Assen. |
