I know a lot of you with excellent riding skills and experience can effectively brake in a panic situation and not crash, but I don't ride a lot and am a newer rider so ABS would definitely save my butt! In the end, was he comparing the breaking power with his helmet, and how much further it is to stop without abs? If so, that's a huge difference!

The helmet was a marker for the shortest braking distance he made with the 1100S, he made the other stops with the 1100 ABS, each one was shorter as he gained braking confidence. He made a point to do the test on a wet, dirty piece of road!
