Title: Italy trip and Ducati factory/museum tour. Post by: Christian on April 08, 2010, 10:53:20 AM Hey folks,
In early March I made the trip to Italy and visited Venice, Cinque Terre, Bologna, and Rome. Naturally I visited the Ducati factory and did the tour. They don't allow photos of the factory, unfortunately, but I snapped some of the museum. The whole Italy trip set is on flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ocelotpotpie/sets/72157623776627936/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ocelotpotpie/sets/72157623776627936/) About halfway through the set you can see the Ducati Museum photos. I wanted to say thanks to the folks who commented on my thread when I was thinking of visiting. Got a lot of good ideas from all of you! The trip was fun. Next time I go to Italy I'll definitely rent a bike! Title: Re: Italy trip and Ducati factory/museum tour. Post by: DucatiTorrey on April 08, 2010, 11:05:29 AM thats so sick

Post by: lazylightnin717 on April 08, 2010, 11:26:39 AM I was at all of the above when I lived in Florence. Cinque Terra is definitely one of my favorite places to visit but probably not a lot of fun to live there. My time spent there was pre-Ducati though so I didn't get to visit the factory or museum....
Guess that gives me all the more reason to go back! Glad you enjoyed your time Title: Re: Italy trip and Ducati factory/museum tour. Post by: AfroStar on April 09, 2010, 03:47:18 AM Nice Christian! we should all try to make this trip at least once in our lifetime. I hope my pilgrimage will come soon.
Looking forward to some good riding this year.. Title: Re: Italy trip and Ducati factory/museum tour. Post by: Christian on April 09, 2010, 04:07:20 AM Definitely!
My buddy and fellow Monster rider Devon and I are planning a long weekend trip to Montreal sometime this spring/summer. I'll keep you posted if you want to tag along! I will almost certainly be riding this weekend. :) Title: Re: Italy trip and Ducati factory/museum tour. Post by: MotoCreations on April 09, 2010, 05:52:01 AM Great pics!

That is interesting! I was snapping photos in that room quickly before we moved on through the tour and I didn't even notice it! |
