Title: Re: Track bike anyone? How about a 748S? Post by: Drunken Monkey on April 13, 2010, 09:08:22 PM In other news a buddy of mine is working on picking up an '86 rz-350 (the bike I used to race when dinosaurs ruled the earth) for free. We're going to try and fix it up as a track day and (potentially) race bike.
I think my "outside bike" jones is satiated for the time being. At least until I ride the damn thing at speed and realize what complete crap bikes were back then. [laugh] that is the very first bike i ever worked on... i never rode it but i spent many hours stripping it down to the bare frame, fully rebuilding the engine, then while waiting for an new fuel tank to arrive so i could finally ride the damn thing a super typhoon hits guam and drops a fricking coconut tree through my garage roof ending any chances of ever taking it out for a spin. at least i was able to return the gas tank for a full refund. |
