So, I followed the example of a few folks from the old board and installed the headman hot tips on my bike.  I used the brute-force 2 inch u-bolt method.  The pipes sound great, leak like crazy, look badass, all that stuff, and this Saturday I tested them in 'action' so to speak.  I went to Lee Park's total control clinic.  So during the circle, the oval, the figure eight drills i was dragging those u-bolts all over the place, sparks flying and all.  Not pretty and kind of spooky.  This week the hot tips are coming off and the high-mount termis are getting back on.  They sound better anyway, imho :).
