Ok I'm to the point of wiring the Pasta Bobber, which is a customized 06 S2R 1K. http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=11758.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=11758.0). My question is about the stepper motor. There are three hoses to the stepper motor, one to the vertical intake mani, one to the horizontal intake mani, and the other went to the air box. From the manual it is my undersatnding the motor acts as a choke of sorts and balances the cylinders/provides supplementary air for mixture
My problem is that I have eliminated my air box and switched to pods. So what do I do with the hose that went to the air box? do I let it hang ten? or do I need to run it to one or both of the pods? or do I cap it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks [moto]
I guess I'm leaning toward routing it to a small filter..............maybe?
I know some of the kits (TPO beast maybe) come with a smaller K&N style filter that goes on the hose that used to go to the airbox. I am sure they must be available somewhere.
The stepper motor controls the idle speed.
The hose that used to go to the airbox needs to have filtered air.
You can do that with one of the small K&N's.
Or route it to one of the pods.
