Just noticed the 2010 helmets are out, sorry if I'm a little late on the news ticker, but I'm really digging this years graphics.
Thought I'd also share that there are some decent closeout deals on 2009 race and street helmets.
You got a link?!
Some people are soo laazyyy!! ;D
kidding. I should have stated I was at the agv site.

I still have a fair number of 2009 helmets left on closeout, most at 30% off. I have GP Tech graphic models (including Rossi reps) as well as a few Ti Techs, Stealth and S4's. PM me if you are looking for anything in particular.
Yeah the 2010 models are starting to appear on retail sites - though the 2010 Stealth hasn't come up for sale yet :(
I'm really hoping they fit my head shape. My helmet (RF-1000) is due for an age replacement at the end of this season, but I was going to cut it loose sooner if a stealth fits. I'm a bit fixard on getting a helmet with one of the sun visors, if I can.
I think I might look good in:

*DDan - any notion to when the Stealth SVs might be hitting US shores?

I was additionally looking at some of last years race models, thanks, I will keep you in mind when my impulse purchasing mode kicks in, which it always does.
I just wish a Guy Martin rep was available.

I'm not big on the cartoon graphics, but these new helmets look great
Bluetooth available too, but expensive.

The 'Grifo' pattern, that was only for UK right? An '09 pattern maybe? Man I wish that was available here, I really dig it, just looks completely evil.

Yea, i'd say that'd be fitting. [laugh]
Let me know if you're successful (I wonder if there are legal issues with UK helmets being worn here, I don't see a certification sticker on the back)
Sharp Ratings here!

Unforutately, the Grifo was in fact an EU only helmet. If you can find an overseas vendor that has it in stock, there should be no problem getting it over here. The helmet is SHARP, BSI and ECE2205 rated all of which surpass SNELL ratings. It will not however, be DOT certified as it was not homologated for the U.S. market, so a savvy LEO could hassle you over it, but I have never heard of that happening. Just look at all the idiots on their Harleys wearing beenie "novelty" helmets.

for those looking to purchase the GP-Tech Five Continents (Rossi's helmet), just know that the red and orange colors fade!
The color on mine is washing out at the top of the helmet. My friends looks pretty much all green and blue only. You'd think for a $700 (what I paid when I bought mine last year) helmet would at least have quality paint. >:(
I like this S-4 SV:

...unavailable in the US. :-\

For what its worth, bigger pain in the ass is getting replacement shield that fits profile of helmet once you get the damn thing stateside. My Shoei Synchromax II (EU version) has a different profile than the US Synchromax line; so when I bought a replacement shield here in states, fit was all wrong and it gapped at the top and bottom. Not saying to pass up on the helmet, but I would get a couple replacement shields with it if you plan on riding with it for a while. Scratchy vision gets old.

Thats a good point, buying some extra shields would make sense.

If the helmets are under a year old, take them back to the place of purchase for a warranty replacement. We have sold dozens and dozens of the Five Continents and hundreds of the GP Techs and have never had a single warranty claim made on them.

That's not the case here. The shells and profiles are identical throughout the globe with AGV. The only difference between markets are colors and graphics schemes. Getting shields will not be a problem.

agv needs to make a new Marco Lucchinelli helmet the big yellow and black star was like the virgin mary to the Christians .they made one in the 90's i think it was,one of the great ducati riders
*sigh* When the hell are the new Stealth helmets coming out in the US?
The AGV helmets are great looking. Not sure if any of them would fit my stupid round head.... *sigh*
DaineseDan let me know that the new Stealth SV helmets are en route. ETA is a bit hazy as they still need to go through customs, and we know how fast they can work. But once they clear - then it's off to the shops with 'em.
