Likey?
what kind of tank is that alum or bare steel or painted to look like bare alum?
its steel for sure. you can see the weld joint on the bottom.
Lookin' good!!!!
Dang I love it! So simple and clean. I Lovelovelovve it.
Is it the light or do you actually have 3 colors there?
Front fender - green
Tank - silver
Rear fender - black
Evening out/balancing the color pattern would help a lot. A seat cowl that matches the tank would be a plus too [thumbsup]
nice, I agree with Monster Dave about the seat cowl. [thumbsup]
Damn it! I wanna do this so bad, it looks awesome [evil]
What'd you do exactly? it looks brushed.
The pics don't do that tank justice.
I kept meaning to ask what you were gonna do to yours!! Looks friggin awesome Miles!!
my guess is it's painted to look like brushed metal. On my cleared steel tank, you can easily see the brass (brazed) welds around the tank clasp area in front, and I don't see that on the pic.

Yep, they use brass to fill in the holes after welding.

How bout a penske out back and some early model s4 adjustables up front!! :o
I think the Ducati ST series bolt right up also, but I think the fork tubes are a bit longer?
Haha if I could afford it!!!

[thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
Outer tubes on the ST forks are slightly longer than Monsters, but enough that you won't notice. But the springs?!? WAY TOO heavy for an air-cooled, small case Monster.
Bike looks cool, kinda cafe' racerish [thumbsup]
I thought this comment was gold
