If you aren't familiar with Jay Leno's Garage(http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/ (http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/)), you should really check it out. Every week he posts a video of one of his cars/bikes/trucks/etc. Each one is about 15-20 minutes long. The first half is in the garage with Jay talking about the vehicle. He opens hoods, talks about suspensions, tells stories about the model. It very interesting and his passion for the subject really shows.
Today's video, which isn't up as I write this, is on the Desmosedici. Jay is a serious bike enthusiast. If he owns it, he likes it. It should be interesting to hear his take on the bike.
Ken
Thanks for the heads up. I dig Jay because of his passion for automobiles and motorcycles.

He doesn't own the D16RR, it's a loaner. He's considering buying one. He only has one Ducati, a Hailwood Replica (though I seem to remember seeing an 851 in the back of his garage?)
I was going to put up the same exact post but you beat me to it. [thumbsup] I didn't know he didn't own it though. Man I wish I could loan that bike for a day or two. [roll]
video is up:

Just saw it...I can't believe he did not buy any of the newer Ducs all that time!
Great video! I love Jay's Garage.
For an over paid d*(&^*& bag that was not too bad. I am jealous that garage is sweet the sound of the D16 much sweeter.

I love that he called out the "soul" of the bike...that's just cool. He get's it. [thumbsup]

QuoteJay was at the Rockstore yesterday with the desmosedici.
Just as I rode past the rock store I saw that bike coming in the opposite direction. I thought it was him and I thought about turning around but, after two full round trips up and down the curves I was too tired to bust that U turn, but I had the pleasure of seeing that bike at Flight Cycles open house. [thumbsup]

Yeah, that was pretty pornographic. :D
Great Video. I really enjoyed that.
I doubt I would ever own a bike like that but if I ever get a 848 or 1098... I think that would make me a happy camper [thumbsup]

Oh yeah! I remember that day. I was there at Flight Cycle's Tech Day drooling over it. ;D
thats sweet. I was wait for Jay to pop a wheelie. [thumbsup]
I'm actually surprised how good he looks on the bike. It doesn't seem like a sportbike would be his thing, but it totally fits!
Man that thing's a beast...
I gotta get me a 1098...
Words cannot describe...
"Kinda like a Harley that went to college." ;D
Nice vid. Thanks for posting.
Jay definetely get's it. So many people with money don't. Good for him. That bike is awesome! [clap]
yep - I'm not much of a fan of Jay's comedy but I respect him as motorhead, he does a lot of his own wrenching and rides/drives or otherwise operates everything he owns [thumbsup]
"This exhaust isn't meant to be used on the street. Who'd do that?" [laugh] [laugh]
awesome bike! great site as well...thanks for posting [thumbsup]
One of the guys here in Oz has bought one and posted the link on our Oz Monsters board.
I watched it and then spent the next 2 hours trawling through other clips.
What a great place.
That is a sweet jacket that Jay is wearing. [thumbsup]

It pains me to hear how you Americans pronounce Desmo-Sedici....
It pains me to hear how JAY LENO pronounces just about everything.... we really don't all talk like him.
That is such a beautiful bike! I love that he keeps all of his stuff in working/running condition.
