I think it should because it's made specifically for double-sided swingarms and it is universal, but I'd rather get some other opinions before I take the plunge and buy it.

I'm not sure about the quality, but it'll work with the 696.

It'll work as well on your 696 as on any other bike.

That doesn't mean it won't drop your bike. Doesn't mean it will.

Personally, I think it could be worth spending a bit more to get something with a proven track record, but then I tend to be a worrier.

cool thanks for the replies guys, I'll probably buy it because I'm only using it for cleaning and lubing the chain, since I ride pretty much everyday.
