Title: Progression of the Monster. Post by: freeclimbmtb on April 19, 2010, 05:42:56 AM At the risk of embarrasing myself terribly, Im going to post this question anyway. Being new to the world of Ducati Ive seen a lot of models thrown around that I recognize...but really dont know the specifics of. For instance someone stopped me on the street to talk about Duc's and said he has a S4R...now I know thats a Monster...but thats about it. I did a google (and wiki) search to try to find a model progression for the Monster family but didnt have any luck...anyone know if such a family tree exists on some enthusiest site?

As an FYI for you - The S4R is a 4 valve, water cooled, single sided swing arm monster. Title: Re: Progression of the Monster. Post by: freeclimbmtb on April 19, 2010, 06:02:23 AM Gotcha. I would definately be up to the challenge of making a big chart...but I (obviously) lack the knowlege to do so accurately. I had something like this in mind when I set about looking... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:BMW_cars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:BMW_cars)

Post by: Jaman on April 19, 2010, 06:57:47 AM I just added an article to Spidey's "Monster Generations" from a 2008 issue of ride that give pretty good info/history into pre '08 models...
