This is the thread to tells us what is good in your life? Whether you won the lottery or found a new beer you like, post it here and tell us why life is good.
As for me, I had to go into work today (Saturday). :( But I rode to work at least. [moto] And my clients made me some good coffee. [coffee] And I our meeting lasted half of the time I thought it would and I got everything signed I wanted to. [thumbsup] I was tired when I got home. :-\ My wife saw that I was and said she was going to her mother's and that I should go take a nap. :) My puppies all took a nap with me. :D When I woke up I called my wife and she said that she was going to come home soon. She asked if there was anything she should pick up on the way. I said beer. [drink] She told the guy at the store that I drink Pacifico in the summer. He recommended a Costa Rican beer Imperial. I love it! [beer] In the meantime I sat on my deck and drank bourbon and ate caramel ice cream. My wife brought back meatballs that her and her mother made. After we played outside with the puppies for a couple of hours my wife is currently in the kitchen at this very moment making meatball sandwiches. ;D
These are all simple things. But to me, this is what is good in life. 8)

Mother and I signed the rental papers for a nice little cabin in the woods today.
Life is good.
sounds pretty damn good.
I had a day of wind coming off the water, and it motivated me to do some of the last maintenance needed to get Pisces back in the water for the season. She should be wet before next Friday.
Just being out on the decks by the water makes whatever irks me go away.

Today i hauled my 30" aluminum travel trailer to Maine, behind my 25' long truck (hard to miss us). going over the bridge on I-95 between New Hampshire and Maine, an old blue haired lady tried to share my lane with me.
if she had been driving anything taller than her Toyota Camry, she never would have cleared my mirror. and swear to god, she never even noticed...continued on past me, 6 inches from the side of my truck, and almost rear ended the car 100' ahead of me.
i know she wouldn't have budged me in that little car, but i don't need that kind of hassle right now....
so life is good.
I feel like i'm 2 weeks out from opening my new restaurant( the move has been in the works for 2 years)...and feeling pretty proud of the work done.
make the beast with two backs yeah

I considered getting a sail boat. Instead I get up at three in the morning, put on my best clothes, turn on the cold water in my shower and stand underneath it while throwing $100 bills down the drain.

I just got my first pair of professional roller derby skates. No more rentals for me, and the money we spent on them means I'll be doing it for a LOOOONNNGGG time. No going back now!!!
Got the newest used car I've owned today, and found out that my credit score is higher than my wifes ;D
Just about to cook a lamb roast on teh Weber.
And have a few beers while it's cooking.

Cook'n beef pot roast long and slow on the barbie, couple of dark'n'stormys, just about to take the pups out for a walk, and it's a public holiday tomorrow (ANZAC day here) Sun shining all day, nice breakfast with friends, none of us are ill, got enough cash to feed and clothe ourselves, what more d'ya need.

My brother just got married on Friday to a really good girl, theyre In Africa right now on the honeymoon. My best man speech that I was so worried about was a success. And while I was gone a massively famous engineer came in to my studio, and mentioned he thought the work I did on a particular project was very good. Life's pretty good today.

They high fived, bumped chests and smiled all afternoon [clap] [thumbsup] :)
Got my old Klr running. Took it to my buddies ranch yesterday for a shakedown run. Wrecked hard twice. Drank lots of beer. Bike came back in one piece. Good times.
Meatball sandwiches suck!
Sailing sucks!
Your wife doesn't suck
Your puppies are little shit machines.

Life is sometimes hard, but what I love about it is that it's also possible to improve it 8)
Loving my new Doberman puppy Tag.
Sure, puppies are a pain the ass, but it is so cool seeing him discover things for the first time and our chance to train him to be the dog we want him to be.
Overall, he is a very good dog. He is already going to the door and whining when he needs to pottie [thumbsup]
Yes in total agreemnet with you. Life can always be improved upon. Why settle for a good day when you can have a frickin awesome day?
My life is awesome!
A good day in my life is a day riding to workon the twistiest road in Portland, to a job that I love, that I get paid to do. I work with flowers and plants, watch my employers dog chase chipmunks, listen to waterfalls, watch plants grow, create outdoor living spaces and breathe clean fresh air. What could be better other than having a bacon sandwich tossed in the mix?
Or a pint of Guinness?
Yum!
BGB
PS the running score on dog v chipmunks is .........
Dog 0
Chipmunks 211 [laugh]
I had a really great derby practice tonight. I got to roll in the hangar where the big kids practice. The floor is WAY more slick than the roller rink but super fun. Broke in my new skates and it's like skating on a cloud. ;D
How does one go about skating on a cloud? ???
Well, my wife and I are now 6 months in to it. We are expecting a baby girl in August. It is our first. We just picked up a crib this weekend. I felt the baby kick/ move for the first time today. That Kind of made it all real for me. We are very exited! ;D
Met a cute young lady last night.
I have a clean, happy, healthy and VERY FUNNY pitbull pup.
Found a medicine regimine that allows me to handle the worst pollen/allergy season in 20 years with relative aplomb.
Life is very good.
Went turkey hunting Sunday, Drank good beer all night long Saturday night [drink]
Beautiful spring day, toms gobbleing everywhere. Didn't shoot a damn thing, so no mess and no work.
Back to camp and made breakfast of Elk steaks and eggs and bacon and biscuits and gravy.
Drank more good beer till 4pm and broke camp.
Forgot all about an impending divorce and broken heart for two days.
Life is good
My wife and I both have good jobs, we get along well, and we have a nice house. [thumbsup] Summer is also coming and I pick up a new motorcycle on Saturday. ;D

The night before was pretty sweet, until about 3am when I began violently puking out the car window ( I was not driving ). Apparently when you don't drink for months on end, then let loose one night with about 20 shots over 4 hours bad things can happen. I was hung over for three days, popped blood vessels under my eyes from puking.
So yea, it was an awesome night.

Total threadjack but your comment reminds me of the "3 rings of matrimony." For those of you who are not familiar with said rings:
Engagement Ring
Wedding Ring
Suffer Ring
T-jack over. ;)
Don't listen to me. I'm just causing trouble :D
I have only committed the act of matrimony twice in this lifetime
I have never been alone with the clergy in an unsupervised setting
