Title: Suggested Roads Post by: positivecarry on April 25, 2010, 11:28:43 AM Does somewhere have a listing of good motorcycle roads? I've seen motorcycleroads.com and motorcycleroads.us from Google, but there aren't really that many nice roads there (at least for twisties) close to NYC.
I searched the board and I found some discussion where someone was archiving roads on a password-protected site, but I couldn't figure out how to get on it. Is there concern around posting a list of roads here? I wish i had a GPS just to record where i go cause there are some fun roads once you venture about 2hours outside of nyc. NOt only that, but once they are are swamped with motos, the locals inevitably complain to the [leo], and then the [leo] start to camp-out on what used to be your favorite roads. >:( Title: Re: Suggested Roads Post by: mookieo2 on April 26, 2010, 07:48:02 AM Google maps and Google earth are your friends. You'll find different people feel differently about roads. My garmin's down right now, so I cannot pull off my list of roads, but here's a few to start you off based on memory. The rest will have to wait until my garmin's fixed.
