confused about where a couple of parts go because I didnt pay attention when I was ripping things apart.
Heres a parts diagram for reference

could someone match these to the above parts diagram?
also does anyone know what size bolt i can replace this with? I feel like it cant grab enough threads on the swingarm, I would like something longer. When I had it installed it also rubbed the brake disc.

I had the caliper holder pushed flush with the swing arm, yet it still touched. It goes here.

Are parts 7 and 8 from the diagram crammed in this old sprocket?

The old sprocket and the new supersprox looks like they share the same inner diameter?

new sprocket in 42T, hard to find supersprox stealth these days.

Item on the left is #12 in that diagram.
Center item is the washer that goes under the nut on the *right* side.
Item on the right is goes between the center item (washer) and the wheel itself, on the *right* side.

That part is threaded into the swingarm *before* you install the caliper hanger.

Part #8 is in the old sprocket.
Parts #6 and #7 are on part #5.

Yes, it has no part #8
Thanks, I think I'm all straightened out now.

Airborne, did you replace your Cush drives? If so where did you get them?
I just noticed two of mine are backing out and eating at my eccentric. :-X

I did not replace them. I inspected them and they look alright. Also this supersprox will not allow the cush drives to back out. My drives only have about 8k miles on them.

I reckon my next citation report I need to generate for work for a pay rise (I'm a professional scientist), I'm gonna include how many people link to my thread.
I made it pic heavy for a reason. :). Glad to see it's all back together :).
[drink] from downunder now I'm back from looking at rocks in the middle of nowhere :D.

Did you ever find out what grease they used in the bearing? I agree that it looks like awesome stuff.
When I rebuilt my hub I just used high temp Castrol grease.

Nah... I'm almost hoping I can con someone in our organic chem section to have a perve at it for me :).
are you talking about the grease for the needle bearings that the axle rides on?

We do have some good organic chem people... and I may have snared an organic chem prize back in the day :P.
I'd more love to know what grease they run in the double-row angular contact bearing (the SKF one, sprocket side). It's pretty awesome... definitely not like any high-temp wheel bearing grease I've seen. Far too runny.
have you tried asking ducati? lol

Yeah, reply was... ask SKF.
Asked SKF (boyfriend of a friend of mine works for them as a mechanical engineer) and the answer was... erm, we're not sure. Ask the Spanish factory... and they haven't told me :).
