Title: Gasoline disposal Post by: Vindingo on June 02, 2008, 08:04:39 PM I have some 8 year old gasoline that I need to get rid of. Can I drop that off at a gas station or is there a specific place I need to take it?
Thanks! [moto] Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: TCK! on June 02, 2008, 08:18:01 PM Metal Bucket + Drip Trail + Match = Gas Gone
Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: Vindingo on June 02, 2008, 09:29:21 PM did you buy the 675? I saw your ad on CL :'(
Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: TCK! on June 02, 2008, 09:42:00 PM 675 will be in the garage Thursday night :D The thing is a freaking hell cat I tell you. Front brakes are insane, drops into corners effortlessly the Jardine slip-on is sexy as all hell and the 110 leaded fuel makes a wonderful smell that stings the nostrils. The effortless clutch pull was very strange feeling. I've got a couple sliders to replace, an adjustment cap for a fork and I'm off to the track :D
The seller has a monster too, so hello Espionage01! The 748 CL ad is marked up from the BARF/DMF ad's if anyone else is interested. Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: Vindingo on June 02, 2008, 10:14:54 PM I have an M1 and $5 cash in my hand, does that mean I can test ride the 748? ;D

Please don't. Burning it off would be slightly better. :P Do you live in SF? Here is info on their household hazardous waste program (http://www.sfrecycling.com/sfhhw/index.php?t=d). Most counties in the area have a similar program. And TWO 916 series SBKs in the garage would look waaaaay cooler!! 8) [laugh] Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: Vindingo on June 03, 2008, 12:02:19 AM So what's the bro-buddy-DMF price? This price includes vintage gas that Im holding for TCK at my place. Pick up must be completed 5 days after transaction completion. I could possibly deliver it to your place too ;D Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: duckwrench13 on June 03, 2008, 09:38:49 AM Do you live in SF? [thumbsup] Good idea, I just added it to the resources thread (http://ducatimonsterworldwide.org/index.php?topic=562.0). Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: TCK! on June 03, 2008, 03:40:45 PM I wish I had that gasoline when I was breaking up with my gf in high school it would have made it much easier to burn all of her stuff. :P (I had to use lighter fluid)
Secondary usages from old Gasoline could be something like a Sobe Bomb, which are always fun! http://youtube.com/watch?v=UDTMfWKhIDc or whatever these guys are doing http://youtube.com/watch?v=67R43_ZXHio It's also good for washing parts on 1970's CB750fours. A guy that works for me uses gasoline and a cement mixer to wash his clothes. He also baths in a metal tub in the back yard. You sure have lost your Hooligan ways :( Title: Re: Gasoline disposal Post by: Vindingo on June 03, 2008, 04:18:14 PM I wish I had that gasoline when I was breaking up with my gf in high school it would have made it much easier to burn all of her stuff. :P (I had to use lighter fluid) Secondary usages from old Gasoline could be something like a Sobe Bomb, which are always fun! sweet! now all I have to do is find the nearest trailor park... so thats probably north east of the city? You will likely get charged a small fee, but at least you know it will be disposed of properly.
