Title: Need some advice for a trip Post by: smducman on May 10, 2010, 09:40:48 AM I plan to drive , i know ...should ride but it ll be a long one with cupcake ,so we ll start driving from 101 coast line , to Portland Oregon then Seattle and final destination will be in Vancouver.
Any advice what road should we take from 101 to Portland Oregon , I check route 199 , but not sure , any experience to advice for this trip I really appreciate. Actually, I did it in the opposite order, but same path overall. I stayed off of I-5 all the way.

I would advise bringing tire chains, just in case. We may be in spring, but things have been crazy up there this year.
