SO I'm looking at the Light Werkes "Integrated" Tail Light that basically gets rid of those ugly rear turn signals and moves em into the tail light. Does anyone know if it's legal here in NM?

Works: yes, But, I had two go out within' 700mls.

Went back to stock & hid led's in the back grills of my 1098

Edit: None are also legal here. All you have to have here are, head & taillights (with brake) and 1 mirror.

Oh, ok, guess I forgot.   I just know the one(s) I had were a pile of shit. But they did look cool in smoked. I missed two big rides because of them, so, I hate them all...just sayin'  :)

Technically, a license plate light is also required, but who's counting?   ;)

The Supersport is mildly illegal.  No mirrors.  Something I'll probably be ticketed for next time I get pulled over for speeding.

Mirrors are virtually useless on bikes, IMHO.

wait. what about the warranty? now a days the avg LED life is like at least 20,000 hrs. ?!

you didn't contact the manufacturer? or did it take you at least 20,000 hours to go 700mls?

Ms. M,  Yes the lights have a warranty, but when you run the dealership, and can't even get outa town because of a f'n tail light...I'm out.    I just want shit that works.

i have the integrated turn/brake/tail/license plate (led) tail light... it works great! (minus the fact that i dont have front turn sigs so it blinks fast, but i almost never use them anyway) i think i got it from monsterparts.com but that was like 2 years ago. i also got my clip-ons from there.

Mirrors are very useful on the crowded roads of metro NY. There are  lots of guided missiles here disguised as cars and trucks. You need to be sure none of them have a missile lock on you.

yeah. i actually do use my tiny CRG mirror. I never trust it though. I did like being able to see with the MONSTER mirrors that came on the bike, but they just look so. uh. lame.

what's really funny is before i found this forum i was on the other ducati forum ... and i was complaining about jerky dudes hitting on me when i ride. it's still something i don't understand now. uh, wow, there's a girl on a bike next to you in traffic and you want to chat her up through her full face helmet? 1. I CAN'T HEAR YOU and B. i don't care. 3. i could have like a lazy eye and 2 teefs and a patch of hair somewhere. mostly, i look like the girl in the bar scene in IM GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA. but because i ride i am hot? uh no. that's not how that works. try that out at the lie-berry.

The woahman is doing great, she's actually sleeping right next to me right now. We just moved into a new pad to be together for the summer and it pretty sweet. All of yous need to come visit!
