Title: Bumper Stickers
Post by: ms. mel on May 14, 2010, 09:39:15 AM
You ever read a bumper sticker and say, "WTF?!" or "That's the stupidest bumper sticker ever!"

I saw one today. I really tried to get a photo of it, but the lady was too fast. It said:

TATTOOED WHITE TRASH.

like, is that something you really want to be proud of? and what, exactly, am I supposed to do with that information? Hope that maybe I'll run into you at the next Kid Rock or ICP show?

Whats really funny about that sticker is that the fridge I bought from Sam (about 4 years ago), has that sticker on it... It is now COVERED with stickers, btw.    [laugh]   good stuff.

Sorry, I tried to tell my mom that wasn't cool.   She then told me, "What the hell do you know, my bastard child"  :-[

I had rather see that sticker, than one more HOPE sticker.  I swear if I had one of those, I would just go buy a new bumper before I took the time to scrape it off.

OOPS, Politics,  me sorry.  :-X

Yes it is, It's one of the skate decks someone did for me a few years ago. It is definitely not how I'm feelin', yet life is a whirl wind lately.  The past three days have been some of the hardest of my life, but, I still wake up smiling.  So many things are happening to so many people I (we) love, but they are all happening for a reason.  That's the 50 % true believer in me talkin' right there, the other 50% wants to tell the world to make the beast with two backs off...but I know that won't do anyone any good.   MAN that Barley wine is callin' my name.

How's So. Cal, Lorenzo?

Oddly.. of all of the stickers out there, that one I actually have seen in real life. it was on a little red scooter, (Vespa? who knows didn't pay that much attention)  It even had a red cross logo on it so it looked more legit.

That would be all well and good, but, I have a feeling you'd cause more accidents from people looking in their mirrors trying to read it than from just downshifting, dropping that clutch and blasting passed them!   ;D

Do it.

Once again I was proven that b-stickers are gay, and, I don't care what you think when you are in your car .
I saw a Subaru (this will be no surprise) today with possibly every Democratic nominees name & slogan on a sticker since before there were vehicles to put them on.   Do those make the beast with two backsin' cars come with a box full of those when you buy it?

Seriously, I don't think they could see out the back window enough to notice I was at the same three lights going across the top of Tramway with them... on a damn bicycle!

i had one. (very long story) and it wasn't by choice. the car, not the story.
biggest pile of great dane poo ever. and the dealership service was the suck as well.
and no. there was not one sticker on it. i was probably the only straight female non liberal no bumpersticker owner of a olive green outback in burque...

 [bow_down]  Rage on sista'

When I was on US Ski Team, they gave us one (mid 80's). It was actually a good car...compared to everything on the road at the time. but now, No way.
They would fit me about as well as a new Beetle or smart car, and I'm not talking about their size. You could fit 10 of me in a smart car  [laugh]

All of this talk about the Subaru's somehow struck me into a strange, disturbing vision of sorts.  I remember when Subaru released the Outback.  Back then Ol Paul Hogan was used in the advertising campaign.  In his best native Australian accent "Thats my Subaru Outback" always following him escaping some sort of peril with the amazing all wheel drive ..ahem "sport wagon"  Now.. Onto the vision:  Fast forward from now.. about 10-15 years.  Casey Stoner, as good as he is now eventually retires and is just taking it easy.  To kill his time, You guessed it, He's advertising the all new Outback.  And in his best native accent.. "Nothing gets me to the GP like the new Subaru Outback"

... I wasn't drunk or on any medication when this happened either.

Which is one more good reason not to buy one.

Stoner makes me want to hurt myself.  Actually, not true. He bores me ta death...Regardless of what he rides.  [bang]

Medicated or not... I do dig the way you looked at it, Wayne    [thumbsup]
