The exhaust on my Monster is starting to get a little raspy and is also a little louder than I would like.  After some reading on the net, I learned that aftermarket pipes should be repacked every so often.  I found a few videos showing how to repack them, and it seems simple to do.
My question is, what should I use?  There is fiberglass packing and steel wool packing.  Which one would give me a good mellow sound, and/or hold up for a decent amount of time?  What are the pros and cons of each?

I believe that steel wool will be louder but more durable than fiberglass packing.

There are kits that incorporate both Stainless wool and fiberglass.
You'd get the longevity of the stainless and the sound of the glass.
Here's an example....http://www.bristolcore.com/category_s/3.htm (http://www.bristolcore.com/category_s/3.htm)
I have no FHE with it, but Dan has used a different brand and liked it.
Maybe he'll post his link.

				I've used this:

and this:

I like the second one a little better but I've had the first one in for maybe 20K miles and it's still fine

So would one package be enough for two cans, or do I need one package for each?
