Most of us in the Northwest Section are from the Portland area, there are some who're from the Seattle area. You might also try http://www.desmonorthwest.com/ (http://www.desmonorthwest.com/)

Where's Bremerton, Where's Kitsap? You guys aren't very geographically cultured, are ya? Must be a west side thing.

I'm being held hostage in the PNW.

I'm one of the Portland crowd so technically we're neighbors.  [moto]

By West Side, I meant in the Portland sense. I know about your Vermont problem, and you seem to have handled that for the time being. But West Side can't be fixed. Not even Kenobi can save you.

My Maria, Maria . . . reminds me of a Westside story . . . or something like that.

Something Spanish Harlem . . . something or rather kinda like that.

Carlos Santana . . . blah blah blah.

Wait . . . what was your point?  :P

Oh, Westside . . . you know what they say about Westend girls?  me either I never understood that song.

Ummmmm . . .

Anyone up for a trip to Kitsup some weekend?   Haven't tried to plot out a route yet but how bad could it be?  Oh, and this is the year I WILL make my trip to Coos Bay . . . anyone interested for that one either/too?

I neeeeeeeed to get back out on my bike.

If we can do some adequate planning I may be able to coerce my mom into babysitting so Morilla and I can go. I've always wanted to see Bremerton.

I was just about to jump on checking out a good ride route.

The last time Chuckles and I tried to plan an epic ride... his bike sucked up his ride fund with unplanned maintenance needs, and got laid off (which was a giant RESET on my vacation time... new job and all).

Maybe we need to sneak past such unfortunate events by just going.  ;)

That ride was gonna be great, btw... up the Olympic peninsula, ferry to Victoria, ferry to Vancouver BC, ride up around Whistler, then down the eastern side of the Cascades.  Then it was optional to go back through the Gorge to Portland, or take another day or two and visit Marvs & Gracie in Bend.  Epic.

ahoy! i grew out of a floating tin can in bremerton, wa. born with an anchor tattooed on my shoulder. i know where you are but cant say i want to ride back to the rain infested area. should be able to find some sport bike clubs there. if you are looking for an amazing place to ride, Los angeles county,CA has terrifically amazing canyons, all over the place! if you are in the area, take a peek around, or a couple peaks.
Welcome to the helm of your own bike!
Welcome to the club!
Chris
