Title: MC repair in Chantilly/Fairfax? Post by: Dr. D on May 23, 2010, 08:27:32 AM My situation: I have a rear tire on my 696 with a plug in it after removing a nail. I have a new rear bought at a good price at Colemans/Fall Church. Since a buddy and I were going to change the tire today, i just got the tire from Colemans. Tourns out my buddy doesn't have all the pieces to do this (it has been some time since he used the setup). Next weekend I go to NJ Motorsports Park for some track time, so I need the tire changed. I can take the new tire and wheel (off the bike) to Colemans, but that is a pain during the week since I live/work in the Chantilly area. I have found a few places in the area that might change the tire -- anyone have experience with these places? Other recommendations? Post by: Dr. D on May 24, 2010, 12:31:31 PM Ended up going to NVCycleWorx in Chantilly. Turns out the shop is less than 5 minutes from my work location. Three man shop working on all sorts of bikes. Wheel with good tire mounted and tested -- all is go for NJMP! |
