Alright, so I'm seriously considering painting the frame on my monster red. If I do, what materials would I need if I'm going to do it myself. Also how much would it cost if I had it done at a shop?
I'd say the expense will be seperating the frame. Painting will pale in comparision to that labor cost. If that's within your area of expertise, then I'd do so and have the frame professionally painted.
it can be torn down in a couple of days (a few hours a day) easily. putting it back together.. another story [bang]
How much do you think it would cost to get it done professionally?
Well, honestly, too much IMO. i did it myself so far. well me and a guard rail. no way i would pay for this much work for a color change. probably cheaper to sell it and buy the color you want.

You'd have to remove all that, just to get to the frame?
Pretty much ;)
