Title: 1000DS Monster Exhaust - A Question
Post by: Pedro on June 03, 2008, 02:35:22 PM
Right then, I have a 1000DS monster with Power Commander, open airbox & DP titanium cans which makes about 90 horse power at the wheel. There should be a few more to come with a tidying up of the fuelling map (my buddy has around 97 from his Numptystrada).

Just ordered a Sil Motor Spagetti header system - anyone on here tried this?

I don't think I have seen that.  The only "Spagetti" pipes I have seen are Ducati Performance.

However, some fitting issue I won't bore you with.....

I'd heard of that header before - mind if I ask the source and the bank book damage?

It's made by Sil Motor in Italy, all stainless steel, much lighter than stock and 5mm bigger in bore at 45mm.

Not cheap though, retail in the UK (through Spareshack) is a shade over £600.....

Supposed to be good for up to 8-9 horsepower though so a decent amount of bang for your buck. I'm aiming at 100hp at the rear wheel so this should help no end!
