Looks like Russia is bringing some competition for the US F-22/F35 in 2013:

I think the tap on the nose is what gives it the "seal of approval" by the pilot. [cheeky]
In all honesty though, to me it looks more like a flying pancake than a state-of-the-art fighter. I suppose only time will tell.
Thoughts?
Kind of looks like a cross between the F-22 and F-23. Probably a bad ass airplane.
Manned aircraft, that is so year 2000.
;D

It's got a lot of moving wing parts as can be seen early in the video clip - front and rear of the wings.

I've always liked the look of Russian planes. And from what I've read this one is pretty impressive.
Now do the Ruskies actually need a next-gen fighter? Probably no more than we do, but I guess you have to do something with your money...
Damn cool.
Wonder how fast it can go in K mode...
Looks like a bigger, badder F-15. But the vectored thrust probably makes a plane that big quite formidable!
will it take off if it's on a treadmill?
Hey I saw that Myth Busters episode!!
looks like the Russian's liked the F-23 more than we did

It really does look a lot like the F-23.
With thrust vector engine nozzles and movable wing leading edge root extensions, the Russian fighter should be insanely maneuverable.
