I finally made it to the New Mexico Ducati Forum, thanks to a little help in the invite Thread on the main forum page. It appears by all the threads in the New Mexico forum that everyone is having a great e-time! I hope no one minds me butting in! If so, I may be forced to used my P-52 modulator to disintegrate you! Otherwise it's a peace-toast over some grappa! Where to begin?....Thanks for the invite and glad to e-meet all of you! Gotta start somewhere!
Why would we mind?? Jump right into the fray and have yourself a good old time! [thumbsup]
Welcome! Thought you were Mars from NW New Mexico who meets us in Ouray every year. Guess not if you are new to our board. Have fun and don't forget to threadjack at every opportunity.

It's always good to find a new New Mexican on board! Be sure to pay attention to the "Who's Riding This Weekend" thread if you're in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area. We'd love to catch you out for a ride sometime soon. You are also cordially invited to Cheesy Movie night tonight if you're bored and feeling lonely.

Hey Bonfy,
Very interesting, I was in Ouray last year on the motorcycle and even stayed overnight before heading up to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Quite a drive by motorcycle considering it is 12,000 feet and no guard rails. Also, the mountain was very accomodating in providing all 4 and very windy seasons within a 30 minute period! Still, I'm probably not the one who meets you every year.

Hey..it looks like they let anyone i.e.: R. Maximus chime in on this thread, so..
welcome Mars!
I used to live near the ocean in Jupiter. Jupiter, Florida, that is.
Now in Phoenix but that's not too far for you to ride to share that Grappa you mentioned. [beer]
Welcome, Mars. You will like these people- they're crazy in the nicest way.
(Whisper) Say, could you loan me a few bucks?
Thanks IZ! Arizona's rather close by, nice to meet you! I'll drink to your kind words, salute! Or translated in english, to health and well being!

I never did hear where in New Mexico you live, Mars. What's the scoop?!?
The guy I was talking about goes by marsrr. He started a thread way back on page 4 or 5. You should try to make the trip to Ouray again. We meet there every year in early August. Check out the DiTR 2010 thread!
Marsrr? I took your advice and reviewed the historical posts. It appears that he has not posted since 2009. It's a good thing, because there can only be one "Mars." Yes, the trip to and through Ouray was spectacular. The mountaneous and winding roads were exhilerating! Thanks for the warm invitation, August is a nice time of the year to visit Colorado, I shall give it some thought. Does the whole NM monster forum meet up there for some monster fun? Sounds like a blast!

Hi Cloner,
How was cheezy movie night? Thanks for the invite, but I was out of town. I live in Albuquerque, NM. I love this State and have lived here since 1999. DucMouse refers to it as the land of entrapment, and I feel that she is correct. I'm trapped and not trying to escape, it's the chili, pinon, and sunny highways that keep me content.

it's the chili, pinon, and sunny highways .
For me, it's the low price, low quality hookers, strippers that give back change, & the ankle bracelet.
Welcome to the party, Mars [thumbsup]
God I love this
bar place :)

It went...well...cheezy, of course. ;D We all had a good time and I look forward to doing it again sometime soon.
I also look forward to a ride sometime soon, so pay close attention to the "Who's Riding..." thread and jump in when you can.

Not just the NMMR. It draws folks from all over the place. It started out as a way to gather Ducatista in one place for some outstanding riding and comradeship. It's fun to meet the folks behind the avatars. You should try to make it. [thumbsup]
