Does anyone know if Speed TV is broadcasting the races?
They're listed as tomorrow May 1st at 5 and 6pm on the web site but checking the schedule on my tv they're not there.
I knwo that sometimes the major networks cover the US races like Indy and Laguna so I was wondering if that's the case with the Miller races too?

Where did Checa get that time?   :o

Between he and Biaggi they hammered the old lap record.

Nice to see Haga get a start closer to the front.  Maybe Nitro can sniff a podium.

hardly a stretch in terms of computing.. but this was interesting:

Ducati can control the rev limit of every Superbike connected to their electronic network. It's rumored that at Salt Lake City Ducati has raised the rev limit of all customer bikes an additional 500 rpm.

that was kinda boring.

...maybe ducati is also tired of satellite bikes winning so they just shut off carlos' bike  ;)

Such an odd quote in an article. I'm sure they were trying to be funny in a Skynet sort of reference, but it kind of failed.

You have to feel for Checa man.  He was simply on fire this weekend.

Sucks for Cheka. Twice had issues with his bike and was in the lead in both races. I was a track marshal at the races this weekend. It was awesome to be that close to them as they came flying by.

Probably would have again this past weekend if he didnt have the issues. Biaggi couldnt catch him. Each lap Cheka was pulling away.

Late to the party here, but GAWD damn, I'm getting sick of seeing the Aprilias rocket through the straights.  What fun is it if one bike is just way faster than everything else out there?  I thought this season would be much closer than it is.  Sure, that says something about Biaggi and Haslam's consistency, but it's a wee bit disappointing.

I noticed that Haga was close to Checa in points and got all excited b/c it meant he was closing in, but then I remembered that Checa just gave up 50 points.  It's not like Haga has done that much.  Ducati's gonna need some fresh blood next year.  Or some really old blood (like Checa).

When was the last time someone has TWO technicals in a weekend while leading?

I'm gonna go back to Acronym FAQ and change the meaning of "derby" to dick.   [cheeky]
