No...
I won't.
Get off yer lazy ass and get a job. :-*
Good luck...
it can go either way and it is still a win
having Direct Report staff sucks
+1 on Rat
I used to have 10 direct reports and I spent my entire day dealing with bullshit, vacation forms, arguments, and just general bullshit (yes, I said it twice)
I hated it, so I lobbied and won to get my own department that specialized in unique activities.
I hand picked my team and have 2 direct reports.
They rock.
Good Luck Ryan
Good luck man, I wished I got called for another job...
Well the interview went...well it went.
I have NEVER come away from an interview not knowing which way the wind blew until today. It was 2 part...one with who would be the person I would report to and the second part with those who would report to me. All around good people...but I guess they were trying to be very objective in their decision.
We will see by the end of the week.
well...if you get the job...and you don't like the people who work under you or around you....you have access to tons of products with which to rectify the situation!

Our accounting department did that a few years ago when they hired a Manager (they only had a director).
All the girls (yes, it was a female only department as the men always got fired, but we won't go there) got to interview the candidates. I found this to be a very odd practice.
It didn't work out well for them.
The Manager quit about 4 months into the job due to the people she worked with.
Good luck!! The job part sounds good, not sure about the Iowa part.
fingers crossed

Good luck Z!
Although..you in charge of anything scares me and I'm sure most people on this board.
Didn't make the "next step" of the process.
Oh well...who wants to work in shorts in T-Shirts anyway.
Back to not giving a shit.

I got some electrical work, if you can do it for less than 10k :-P
Sorry, to hear. Denver and Norcal sound nice. Phoenix is too damn hot in the summer for my liking. Cost of housing has really dropped in BP's area lately. The wife wants to buy a house down there so we can live near her sister.
