Title: M1100 brake and clutch fluid reservoirs Post by: MonsterTom on June 02, 2010, 08:40:02 AM I just noticed that the 696 has some nice rectangular and lower profile reservoirs as opposed to the ugly pee-cups on my 1100. What's up with that? Any reason why the 696 reservoirs wouldn't work on the M1100?
Title: Re: M1100 brake and clutch fluid reservoirs Post by: mattc7 on June 02, 2010, 08:54:43 AM The 696 has integrated reservoirs
The 1100 has RADIAL masters, much better equipment. The 696 masters will work fine, you'ld have to swap the master cylinders though why would you want to downgrade? Stop worrying about looks, ride the piss out of it. If you want "prettier" reservoirs, rizoma makes billet ones. 696 owners are envious of your pee cups (and radial brake and clutch cylinders). Get some bling pee cups and you are set to go. :) Title: Re: M1100 brake and clutch fluid reservoirs Post by: MonsterTom on June 02, 2010, 09:09:29 AM Ahhhh......I didn't realize they were integral.
