I had a custom map dyno tuned for my M800 a few years ago. I dont think it is right, it runs good just not perfect. I had a open airbox on the bike however when I picked it up they had the closed stock lid back on and said the fuel curve looked better with it.
I think they put the stock lid on and rode it and said that works.
Could I have the cutom map down loaded to a computer and try on of the maps on the Dyno Jet site and if its worse re-load my cutom map back?
I dont have my software or usb cable anymore so I would have to find someone near Charlotte NC to do it for me...
yes, you can save your existing map to a file, and load it back on anytime. I burned my map onto a cdrom. Be aware though, the PC site maps are crap at best.

I need something close...I think the arrow high mounts, BMC filter and open airbox would be close.
Ive had luck saving the dyno run map, and then adding fuel percentages in the areas I thought it needed. Mine had tailer hitching issues until I raised the numbers.
I kind of had the same problem. I wasn't exactly happy w/ my custom map. The solution was to use the face plates to lean out the low and mid range by a point or two and PRESTO! I would try that before all else b/c that custom map IS the best map for your bike.

What does trailer hitching issues mean?

Its a term used when pulling a trailer. You get the jerkyness in the tow vehicle as the slack in the trailer hitch components work against each other.
My bike had alot of that jerkyness feel 2000 to 3000rpm.
