Freaking google background image. That is 1 reason I have google as my home page - simple, white, fast. Well not anymore.

But in the meantime they let you use any image you want. Anyone have a very small all white jpeg? :-\

You can remove your background image at any time by clicking Remove background image in the bottom left corner of the homepage.

Okay. The Remove thing only removes the customized image you selected. Google still pukes up another random image in the background.

I'm logged in since I use gmail for work purposes. You can change the image all you want, but the there is no way to get back to good ol' Google Classic sans annoying image.

if you're using firefox and have the google search box, they haven't added the background image to that.

I actually still have it set as my home page since its a quick jump to my gmail account. Otherwise, yeah, search using the google box in firefox.

it's been plain white for me all day.
also, i don't like add ons to my browsers. they annoy me and take up screen space.
if i want to google something i can take the extra 5 secs to go to the main page
