Title: Crappy weather this weekend, started painting stuff black.....
Post by: Mike Qube on June 13, 2010, 12:24:48 PM
I didn't do much riding this weekend because of the rain, so I started taking stuff off the bike and painting it black. I did the belt covers, the exhaust pipes and the things that holds the pegs and mufflers. And because I have dry-clutch envy, I did that area too.
Here's a before pic:

and a couple of afters:

Looking good. I just did the same a few weeks back. What paint are you using?

For the pipes, I used hi-heat bbq-grill paint, for everything else I used krylon fusion.

So far so good on the paint. I took a long way to work today and rode for about half an hour. Still nice and black.
