Title: Brake Line Connection Question
Post by: ajw85 on June 15, 2010, 07:36:37 AM
Stupid question, but
Does it make a difference if I have two lines going from the master cylinder to each caliper or one line going from the master to one of the calipers and then to the other?

Not really. If you're trying to keep weight to an absolute min, then two lines will cost you some ounces. But in terms of function, they are both the same.

My lowered headlight and clip-ons are not playing nicely with the tee fitting on my lines. One line coming out would work better for me and give me peace of mind that my lines aren't bent like a hamster tube city around my front forks. Thank you for the reply.

I went to Spiegler's web site and spec'd out a custom line set-up for my new calipers and called it in to them yesterday

Click on a template that works for you and it gives you all the banjo types to select from as well

another way to do is to run 1 line to 1 caliper and then bridge it over to the other.;
