Title: M696 tank bag ( Famsa ) semi review with pics. Post by: bicunica on June 16, 2010, 05:30:05 PM Just wanted to share with you guys my experience with this bag. I've had it on my Multi before so I decided to transfer it to the Monster. Got the appropriate tank attachment and it worked. Bought it from the only distributor in the US. Price is decent, but quality is top notch. It's also comfortable to rest on. It can hold enough stuff for a weekend trip. I think! Here are some pics:

Really interested in the set up you have. Can you possibly provide links and purchase info? Google search so far has led me to the ducati one only, and not really a fan as I can't see how it attaches.

Very secure and looks fine without the bag on. The price is 189 $ plus shipping from bikerworld.com. They might not show the combo for M696 but you could call them and they will have it. Post by: Dr. Stylo on June 17, 2010, 06:10:49 AM So, crazy thing...cheaper to order it from the UK, even with the crazy shipping cost (47 pounds sterling). With the exchange rates right now, and the discount they offered, total cost including shipping was LESS than the cost of the bag and base WITHOUT shipping from the US, even with a call to them, they would not offer a discount.
May take longer to get here, but saved me about $55 total. I can wait :) Thanks for the heads up, will be perfect for my needs. Cheers, Jon |
