Title: The Numbers Post by: rule62 on June 18, 2010, 12:01:51 PM Base Run (zero map loaded to PCIII)
Max Power = 57.67 hp (at about 9400 rpm) Max Torque = 38.13 ft-lbs (at about 6600 rpm) Both curves were choppy as hell. The bike was running rich at the bottom, due to a fuel trim level adjustment (+16) I had done years ago when I opened the airbox and added the Termis, and was starved for fuel at the top. Advanced Custom Map Max Power = 62.00 hp (at about 9000 rpm) Max Torque = 40.54 ft-lbs (at about 7200 rpm) The curves are smooth as butter now. All the way to the 10,000 limit. Most notable is a gain of 8 hp and 4 ft-lbs right at 8600 rpm. I'd post the graph, but all I have is a paper copy. Remember... I'm the guy who rides the slow bike, FAST! :) Title: Re: The Numbers Post by: Dietrich on June 18, 2010, 06:48:28 PM Nice work...would love more details on who/where and how much! I need to do this inthe near future with my PCIII. Would like to do a coupe more mods first though. [evil]
Title: Re: The Numbers Post by: rule62 on June 18, 2010, 09:09:08 PM Kip's buddy Jason P. over at GoAZ hooked me up. Evidently he worked at Ferrachi for 9 years and is a whiz at building maps for Ducatis. He's also one of only a handful of Ducati Certified "Master" Technicians in the USA. Plus, he's a nice guy.
