"Sliced" might just be the most stupid show I've seen in a long time.
i dont like hte host. the show is alright, it was prety cool to see shit sliced up though to see how it works.
All I know is that the testicle episode was disgusting.
Host is a douche. Premise is interesting, although it seems to cater to the mouth-breather crowd to a fair degree.
The intelligence level of the channel is slipping, to be sure.... :(
Is that the show where they attempted to cut an old fire truck in half? Friggin stupid.
No socially redeeming value....................oh by the way ..........it's kind a stupid IMHO.
Dolph :)

I DO like to know how things work. And maybe it's just the way he plays it ("I always wanted to see who would win a race between a 160hp jetski and a 280(?)hp boat"). Or the ATV while turning the clutch - "this moves the wheels!"
When I wanna know how stuff works, I look on the interwebs :-\
A lot of historians I know won't appear on their programs because they do such a rotten job with most of their shows. I don't think Ice Road Truckers are "history," but such a show would appeal to a lot of the self-styled "history buff" crowd I guess. This new show doesn't really help.
Additionally, they've dropped "The History Channel" and now simply call themselves "History." That's another thing that irks some serious historians.
only show I'll watch on "History" is American Pickers. Mostly because I'd love to travel the country and look around in people's barns for cool stuff.

+1 - My Dad would have loved their job.
I've found Pawn Stars interesting also, for the variety of things people bring in and what some of it's worth.
