I'm thinking, in addition to throwing on a set of new pipes (since mine are rusted to shit), of replacing my rusted; nasty; beat headers with a new set.

Also, are there other companies/people that make something similar (perhaps cheaper?)?
No. You could polish your old headers, they are stainless, just not a pretty stainless.
Have your old ones stripped and ceramic coated maybe?
What about the weird restricted crossover thing in the original headers? Any performance gains to be had by going to something like those that I linked?
Also, just for my own knowledge, what's different on the 900 engine that those headers wouldn't work on a 750?
The OEM crossover isn't bad at all.
The 900's have a different location on the exhaust ports, so they won't fit.
Pretty sure all Monster 600-800 exhausts will cross-fit, excluding 696.

Sometimes I wish I had waited for a 900 to come along instead of jumping on the 750 - I love it, but it's a hard model to buy for, seems like a lot more attention is paid to the 900, S*R's, etc...
Likely best to get it polished, paint can't hang on the header pipes, they get too hot.
Or get it Jet-hot coated or the like.

The Spark headers look pretty funky. I wish I could see them mounted on a Monster.

They do look pretty snazzy, don't they? The spark ones don't seem
too expensive, either, for what they are.
Funny that they call them "racing" headers. I wonder if there is any real-world performance gain...

Is it the vertical cylinder that has a different exhaust mounting position on the 750 versus the 900? Because, looking at pictures, the horizontal cylinder looks the same to me...

Anyone? I tried searching around the web, but I can't find anything specific...
No FHE, but what I remember (folks who know having said) is that the exhaust ports are a little higher on the 900's.
Thus the headers won't fit the small motors.
