this would be pretty fun, and perfect for Seattle rain commutes. I kind of want one. maybe not all electric.

I would either forget to extend the training wheels in a parking lot.... Or...
Forget to pull them up and break them off on something....or someone....
can you do a wheelie? if no i dont want.

that would be cool if they were automatic. Like below 10 mph they just flop down
i think i saw these prototypes years ago at the Geneva Autoshow. Don't think they were electric then. but the outrigger wheels are automatic.

thats awesome, apparently they are racing it in a zero emission race around the world.
This has popped up before, the out riggers are computer controlled
I like on the first turn into the parking lot the Alfa almost punts him... cagers in a hurry!

I did a search for zerotracer, nothin came up. Would be cooler if it could lean into turns with the outriggers down still helping out. It looks so awkward turning like that.
ever ridden an recumbant bike?
I would much rather have a carver. ;D

Ever ride the Piaggio MP3?
That is one funky machine!
I would say it is even more nuts to ride than the carver.

Here you go:

Put a couple of more wheels on that thing and they might be on to something there.

they wouldn't make much noise, but I'm sure you can mount them on there somewhere.

Sure, but a less expensive and more effective modification would be spoke cards ;D

ha ha right, its electric!
also, the dutch thingy looks like fun, but this looks better for two
I just don't see enough of a market to make it viable.
Those who really want something fully-enclosed aren't going to want to lean around turns.
The thing is pretty long, as well.

Plus lean is just plain bad when something has more than two wheels and a steering wheel.

Ah. I was referring to the Zerotracer from the original post. It has two wheels (unless you count the outriggers) and uses motorcycle controls.
i think the lean affect is better on the zerotracer, i agree, a stationary set of wheels in the back seems like unhealthy engineering
what's the point of a motorcycle if it's fully enclosed?
isn't most of the fun being out in the open?
i lean in a car ;) but that's taking a 15mph corner at 30

I think that's call body roll not lean unless you have active suspension.
