Title: 09 848 wheels on an 06 S4R
Post by: muskrat on June 23, 2010, 06:35:33 AM
will they fit without any mods?  if not, what needs to be done?  I've heard rear brake caliper is too big.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

well the bolt pattern on the brake rotors is off  :'(
I have the 6 bolt and the marchesini wheels have 5 bolt.  anyone know where I can buy good rotors for a decent price that will have the gold coloring?  I know I can go with black but I'm partial to the gold.  Here's a pic

I'm confused - are you going with the 6 or 5 bolt pattern?

Not that it matters, because I'm recommending Yoyodyne anyway.
Brembo HP full floaters at ~ $660 or ordinary Brembo at ~ $300 (pairs) - both are gold.

When I needed new rotors I called Fred at Yoyodyne and I ended up happy [thumbsup]

my bike has the 6 bolt pattern.  the 848 wheels have a 5 bolt.  Will call him tomorrow.  I'm thinking the basic ones are the only thing I can justify right now.  Thanks.
