I thought they were... fine.

They've done better in the past. They've done worse.

The main thing is that mediocre new Futuramas are better than no new Futuramas.

Quite true :)

I liked when bender called fox an idiot for dropping the show, and a bigger idiot for bringing it back.

Well, he called Comedy Central even bigger idiots for bringing it back, since it's not on Fox.

I thought they were great. The first one was a theme they already did (The Sting) albeit in a slightly different way. The second one (garden of eden theme) was somewhat flat, but I was thinking about it today and if you considered it a metaphor for imperialism (Brannigan subjugating Leila), it's totally effing brilliant.

I'm glad the show is back.

I take everything this way. It makes life more interesting.

And I rather enjoyed them. Not the best episodes ever, nor the worst, and new Futurama is good Futurama as far as I'm concerned. I'll keep watching and see how they go.

I've heard the first few episodes are kinda bland/boring out of a need to re-establish the characters and set the tone for the rest of the series going forward.

The past seasons had a lot of hit or miss story lines, but as stated earlier, I'll take 'good enough' episodes over none at all.

I never really watched it. Kind of more of a Simpsons guy. But I don't really watch that anymore either.
