I also found some black brackets for it. Hopefully will be on soon to take some pictures. This possibly would be a temporary set up so may be selling it in the near future. I just installed the HID Kit. The stock was just horrible. Huge difference ;D Title: Re: New Headlight Post by: Raux on July 02, 2010, 08:24:16 PM things i like about this headlight so far. for the 696/1100 it has the same amount of wiring. a parking light, low beam and a highbeam. it's not just a single hi/low beam. so wiring to my stock connector was easy. it's pretty light per se. and it's not too deep, i should be able to mount it pretty close to the triples.

Huge difference ;D If you used the stock headlight, just want to say. THANKS FOR BLINDING OTHER DRIVERS. Putting a HID "kit" in a halogen housing just means you now throw so much glare over to oncoming drivers they can't see. Just want you want....someone looking away from the road the closer you get. Get a proper HID projector, and retrofit it inside your headlight. Title: Re: New Headlight Post by: Howie on July 03, 2010, 06:38:00 AM If you used the stock headlight, just want to say. Just want you want....someone looking away from the road the closer you get. Get a proper HID projector, and retrofit it inside your headlight. I sort of agree with you. Technically all you say is correct. There are so many improper or poorly aimed over wattage bulbs out there headlights out there that it almost doesn't matter. Title: Re: New Headlight Post by: ab on July 04, 2010, 06:28:30 AM You got a point there. You are correct.
But with me not being able to see at night with the stinking stock lights (even after cleaning the case and changing bulbs to higher volts), I had to try the HID kit and get it. It is what it is for now. Unfortunately, I will have to join the "There are so many improper or poorly aimed over wattage bulbs out there headlights out there" I don't know about you but we ride a lot at night and I need this and this is all i can afford to get at this time. >:( |
