Title: Chain scratched SSS swingarm
Post by: uclabiker06 on June 29, 2010, 02:49:00 PM
I measured it and I got a reading of 34mm chain slack.   I know thats a bit too loose but I didn't think it would rub on the swing arm like that.  Basically there are scratches from the chain making contact w/ the swing arm right before it goes into the chain guard.  Its not that bad but still...  Anybody else noticed this on their swing arm ?

I've got a few scratches on my swingarm, but I run my chain a tad on the loose side.

No big deal...for the number of miles on my bike its natural to have a few scratches here and there.

Yeah, ok, thats what I thought.  Thanks.  [thumbsup]

I just wanted to know if the scratches were indicative of a loose chain; probably so.
