not my style, but not my bike either.. [thumbsup]
So thats what the slingshot wet clutch cover looks like on an older model monster! Ive got an 06 s2r in red thinking of picking that up down the line...how is the quality of the piece? Are you happy with it? As far as the forks...think it looks good and it matches the color scheme of your bike. Good job.
i dont like ... better put the vinyl on your red clutch cover ... for me it dont matched to the rest
but for sure its your bike on you have to like it ;)
Looks a little busy. ;)

Definitely lame.
Love the Arrows. Love the belly pan. Not lovin' the vinyl tape on the forks. Not lovin' the red cover. I'll 3rd the "busy" aesthetic. Go all black on the forks or remove all tape.
You've got a subtle black-n-yellow theme emerging and I think you should build on it. With more black and a little more yellow.
Thanks guys
Thats kinda what i thought ...the all black fork was just too dark for me i will remove the stripe fork vinyl
as for color i do have Red clickers on the pazzo's and the cover
but the Arrows have yellow and the 998 spring is yellow
Quality of the cover is exceptional ...easy install ...nice removable slider....great for covering road rash ...which i had from a low side .....i would recommend this cover
I actually don't mind it!
Lame? No.
Kick-ass? No.
Different? [thumbsup]
My $.02: The red clutch cover thingy has GOT to either get it's color changed or go back to Ebay. It destroys the look of the rest of the bike IMO.
any pics of the forks when they were all black?
I wouldn't go so far as calling it lame, just different, for your taste.
Man I love the look of those Arrow cans.
doesn't strike me one way or another...
that said,, I generally lean toward "form-must-serve-function"
on the other hand though,, I DO like your smiling crankcase inspection cover...what/where/how is that about?
Not lame, just different. Bike looks good. Did make me think of these though:

Prior to everyone wrapping their forks in vinyl I wrapped mine with athletic tape. I didn't completely cover the forks either. I think it kind of gave them an old school fork protector sleeve look.

I've recently decided to go ahead and fully wrap the forks using 3M Dry Carbon. It's a vinyl wrap that has the look and feel of Dry Carbon Fiber Weave.

Well, I actually like it. For some reason, looks old school...don't ask me why. Looks good. [thumbsup]

Thank you!
The crankcover is also a nice well made piece also have there sticker on the tank under the Ducati word
this has a shout out to those guys at Indiana Hooligans for the first MotoGp ...they made us all feel so welcome there ...plus it looks cool
no pics of the full black ...just it looked mega "Dark" ..which looks cool ..but not for me
well:! just to be honest I did not expect this type of wrapping lol
but it turns out not bad. but I would wrap the top portion as the large bar portion sort of bothering me
great looking S2R btw.
i think your bike would look better with silver forks, and black TRIPLE CLAMPS.
good looking bike mate!
I can't say I like it or dislike it: just different but it doesn't matter.
it's what you like. who gives a f$%K what us a-holes think. do what makes you feel good. [beer]
I think I like it. It only works for me because the forks are silver. I'd leave it and see what you think in a couple of weeks. The clutch may be what's throwing off the forks. thats the first thing i would try changing.

fake carbon fiber film that looks like carbon fiber stuff but not feel like one
but I've seen it in person,
the finish is quite delicate
