A little background, the bike sat for 7 months while I was deployed, was started weekly and covered in a climate controlled garage. when I got back, I washed it, changed the oil and oil filter then put about 120 miles on it. I filled the tank, rode 14 miles to the house then parked it for the night. this morning, she started but would not stay running and the EOBD light stayed illuminated. I drove the car to work and took a look at the bike when I got home. I started it, still runs rough...really rough. I took it around the block and it has absolutely no power at all.
any ideas?
its an 07 695 with about 13,000 miles on the clock, all maintenance has been done on time. I'm going to bring it to the shop on Saturday but does anyone have any idea what I'm looking at? There's a 2-year warranty on Duc's, right?

How aggressively did you wash it, and how many days ago was the washing?
Is it running on both cylinders, IE both exhaust pipes getting equally hot?
That's exactly how mine behaved when I forgot to connect the rectifier/regulator after changing my rear shock - check your battery voltage.
I didnt wash it that aggressively at all, and I put 120 miles on it after the wash. It ran fine, but for the last 20 minutes I was on it, I did ride it in the rain...
I topped the battery off with a night on the trickle charger prior to me taking it out
If your problem is from bad fuel warranty won't cover it. I'm not saying it is, just want you to be prepared. Did you add fuel stabilizer to the fuel? Suzyj's advice on checking charging voltage is good, a load test on the battery is a good idea too. Fuel injected bikes need both to run properly.
Any condensation inside the gauges?
