Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: heatherp on July 01, 2010, 09:30:37 PM Hmn Stoner and Rossi as teamates on Ducatis. Now that would make for interesting racing.
Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: hadesducati848 on July 01, 2010, 09:32:37 PM can i actually start to cheer for Rossi now? how awesome would this be? cant wait to see.
Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Monstar_100 on July 01, 2010, 10:16:41 PM If the rumors where true with Stoner then Rossi would be taking his spot in the team...
I love Silly Season.... ;D ;D ;D Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: heatherp on July 01, 2010, 10:39:27 PM Yes. Will be interesting to see what actually happens. I'm usually disappointed to find that everybody stays put!
Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Monstar_100 on July 01, 2010, 11:18:04 PM pretty sure that the people in question will be moving for next year...
Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: loony888 on July 01, 2010, 11:35:46 PM mcn are the bike equivalent of the daily sport! i wouldn't believe too much of their "exclusive". still, if rossi thinks moving from yamaha to ducati is going to fix his team mate woes he's kidding himself, lorenzo will wipe the floor with him on the yamaha, and if stoner leaves and he's left with nicky hayden as a team mate he's really screwed, that guy couldn't develop a polaroid.
stoner may be forced to move on but if he goes to honda he may get what he needs to win the title, after all they have thrown everything they have at pedrosa with no luck, and hopefully the duke will fall in a heap and everyone will be reminded that not only did stoner help develop the bike into a championship winner as well as developing the bridgestone tyres that rossi threw a tantrum to get, but also that he's (stoner) the only one who can consistently make the bike successful. paul. Yes JB can work miracles, but he is not Merlin (or Harry Potter for you younger folk!!) Oh and that polariod comment - gold! ;D Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: bikeless on July 02, 2010, 05:35:21 AM spot on paul [thumbsup] but rossi needs a cup of cement and harden the make the beast with two backs up the big sook

Knocks half a second off ya superpole time on race tyres. Is it time to look for a new job? Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Ita on July 13, 2010, 03:43:11 AM spot on paul [thumbsup] but rossi needs a cup of cement and harden the make the beast with two backs up the big sook Hey Bikeless read this... Rossi Laps Brno Under Race Record, But No Announcement Yet - Updated Submitted by David Emmett on Mon, 2010-07-12 19:25. Valentino Rossi's second test after returning from injury has been completed, and judging by the times, Rossi is fit and ready to race. According to times posted by Rossi's team manager Davide Brivio on Twitter, the Italian lapped Brno in a time under the race lap record set by Cal Crutchlow a day previously, on exactly the same bike. Rossi's lap time was 1'59.135, while Crutchlow's race lap record is 1'59.291. and my view..... This is why Val is a god... Well a PR god anyway... Compare with the way CS behaved with his fans, sponsors and the media when he was crook... [roll] I hope CS looks like he is trying next race if he is behind Dani... That last effort and the post race comments were crap... Ita Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Mr.S2R on July 13, 2010, 10:42:33 AM Rossi's lap time was 1'59.135, while Crutchlow's race lap record is 1'59.291. Rossi wants to come back just to let everyone know he can still ride rings around everyone - and Rossi is the best at psychological games! I bet Jorgay is shitting himself right now.and my view..... This is why Val is a god... Well a PR god anyway... Compare with the way CS behaved with his fans, sponsors and the media when he was crook... [roll] I hope CS looks like he is trying next race if he is behind Dani... That last effort and the post race comments were crap... Ita As for Stoner - yeah he may not of treated people well when he was crook, but do anyone? (I know I am not the best [laugh]). Yet he silenced his critics pretty well when he came back, well except for that little mistake at the end.... :P I reckon now Stoner doesnt have to worry about his contract he will get back to business (probably the reason for the post race comments, waiting for the ink to dry on the contract). I doubt he will give Dani an easy time about it - may even pass him! [moto] [laugh] Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: vossy on July 14, 2010, 03:19:09 AM A mate I work with (he's an Italian teacher) just told me that most of Italy is going mad with the news of Rossi signing a 2 year deal with Ducati.
He recently spoke to a mate who lives in Northern Italy. Does that mean the JB will go to team red as well?? Fun times ahead! Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Mr.S2R on July 14, 2010, 10:44:29 AM Rossi would have to take JB with him - or else Rossi wont have a competitive bike to his standards! ;D
Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: vossy on July 14, 2010, 01:22:55 PM ^^^ true true^^^ Will be interesting to see what JB can do with the Duc especially with the front end probs they are having at the moment.

[thumbsup] [moto] Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: koko64 on July 16, 2010, 12:04:32 PM Now I'm feeling real old. Ah,.. remember the days when you could eat/drink as much as you liked and still be slim! (we really need an old fart smiley).
She looks a similar age to my daughters! Shit, and Caseys still got pimples! She does appear to be a sweet kid, as pretty as she is, quite unassuming and a little shy. The 'girl next door' kind of impression. It must be a refreshing change in that GP circus. If I was Casey, I'd still keep an eye on that Rossi! Those Italians![laugh] Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: Betty on July 16, 2010, 12:13:54 PM Shit, and Caseys still got pimples! ... and his voice still hasn't broken. People complain about his personality, but its just teen angst [laugh] If I was Casey, I'd still keep an eye on that Rossi! Those Italians![laugh] What, once a groupie always a groupie? But worried about Rossi? Seriously? It has been suggested that he bats for the other team ... but it is possible he is just playing a completely different game. Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: koko64 on July 16, 2010, 12:37:01 PM ... and his voice still hasn't broken. But worried about Rossi? Seriously? Na, just loving that photoshop job! It has been suggested that he bats for the other team ... but it is possible he is just playing a completely different game. Edit: I thought I better put in a smiley or two coz computer talk can come across so terse. Cheers :) I have heard that too, but it's probably just that he is urbane. Anyway that photo of the elegant Italian lass settles that rumour (if it really is his girlfriend). Anyway, it's not my business if the GOAT is straight or gay, he's the GOAT! :) Rossi is to MotoGP what Ali was to boxing. Jeremy Burgess is leaving Rossi and going to be on Casey's team at HRC. Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: koko64 on July 21, 2010, 03:26:45 PM Another rumour going around.......... Jeremy Burgess is leaving Rossi and going to be on Casey's team at HRC. Wow. If it's true then I would back Casey to win the championship next year while Rossi and Preziosi sort out the Duke. Teams could be lining up along national lines. Go Anzacs. Title: Re: Rossi to Ducati Post by: heatherp on August 03, 2010, 04:17:41 PM Rossi's Brno announcement is going to be a bit of an anticlimax.
