LOL  I remember those days in Huntsville.

Felt kind of like that today in DC as well.  Didn't get any real relief until we got close to the "mountains" along the border with West Virginia.

I would go in the dark. It's suicide to be on a bike right now and risk getting stuck in traffic. You would cook.

I don't get it....

It's either too bloody hot over there or too bloody cold.

Middle of winter here and it's 18C (about 64). We have had days in summer go to 43 (110). Hotter in other areas.

Eat a bowl of concrete and harden up, or move somewhere else.  ;)

We have temp variations greater than that in a day.

I'll put you up for a winter if you think you're man enough...

-20F is not unusual.

It does suck when it happens for weeks on end.

True, days & days of hot temps can be punishing. It can be 30C sometimes, which would be OK, but factor in a 90-100% humidity, it ends up being unbearable.

Spent last few winters in Canada with the in laws, so I have a rough idea what a winter there is like, I'm not a fan.  :-*
