Title: Riding wear Post by: mage on July 07, 2010, 03:09:31 PM Hiya all, Was hoping you can recommend a good on-line store for ladies clothing. I can't find anything I like here in the land of Oz. I'm looking for leather pants with knee elastic but without sliders (can't see me ever getting that far over and they'd look pretty silly in pristine condition). Suppose I could just go out and rub them on the tarmac without me in them No. [roll] So someone that you have delt with perhaps as feel a bit iffy sending card details halfway around world. :-*

Their international shipping page says that shipping to from the US to countries other than canada is $50 though so you may not want to order from them. Other than that I don't have any suggestions, I havn't looked around that much online for womens gear b/c it didn't become an issue until just recently, and then I picked it up locally anyways.

I've had mine for years!! I've bought some textile gear from Cycle gear and Cortech also... Years ago when I started riding, there wasn't ANY womens gear, I started out in mens gear and still have some that fit and work well for me. Today there is so much womens gear to pick from ... theres just more gear all around, they've come a long way thru out the years. If you haven't already, check out Tiger Angel in Melbourne (http://www.tigerangel.com/frontpage.html). The link takes you to the front page. Look under Products. There is a section on women's leathers. They have zip-together jackets and trousers, available separately, with excellent race-style elastic and knee protection, no sliders. Pricey but great gear. I've had a one-piece suit of theirs nearly 20 years. Brilliant custom fit, great protection, still like new (tho I'll admit it's a while since I used it much ;D ). |
