I'm looking to replace the stock handlebar on my '03 M800. Should I be looking at the Standard Aluminum handlebar or the Conical handlebar? What's the difference?
If I'm not mistaken your bike has a steel bar with the same diameter all along. It has some rise to it?
The conical is tapered and has 22mm at the grips and ~28(?) in the middle. Like on S2R/S4R. Very little rise.
The standard 22mm Rizoma has about 3.5" rise. The conical about 3".
They both have more sweep-back angle than stock. That's usually a good thing for wrists and/or shoulders.
