My fuel light is flashing at me but since I'm smarter than the fuel gauge I know that I have 3 gallons of gas left Let's see.. since my fuel consumption ranges from 25mpg to 42mpg...I have somewhere between 75 and 126 miles to go before I run out. Check the computer....'ol yeah...it's flashing and no help. I don't have time to stop because my wife keeps calling my cell phone which I don't want to answer. Man this DUCATI & Termi exhaust system sounds nice Almost forgot...my speedo is nearly 10% too fast so if the speed limit is 65mph and the cops give you ~ 7mph cushion I should be able to run ~80??. Ah shit...recalculate...the speed limit just changed to 55mph I love this DUCATI No wait if the speedo is reading 10% too fast then my odometer mileage is 10% overstated so I my miles to empty calculation was flawed......no dumb arse...that doesn't matter....does it? Shit I don't know I'm only ~1hr later than I told my wife.....wonder if I can come-up with a credible story Nah...probably not How freaking hard is it to design a fuel gauge...Italian Engineers must be better lovers than fuel gauge designers? SHIT...Recalculate...the speed limit just changed back to 60mph Why am I getting a woody....stop thinking about my neighbour....or was that the Italian Engineer....no wait.. I'm straight. I think my miles to go calculation should be pretty good Did she just sputter? Oh shit...I filled her up but I wonder if the air bubble screwed me to thinking she was full. I'd better pull over and find some gas But I have this woody.. I remember when I had a Honda I didn't have to worry about shit like this. Cool another curve.....I'm going to romp-down on this V-Twin and make her sing a sweet Italian song I wonder if Ferrari owners have bad fuel gauges??? But chicks dig Ferrai's so who cares?? Wonder if chicks dig Multistrada??
